Crimson Sky makes the Overworld sky and fog use the crimson forest palette from the Nether. It is a client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1.
- Sky, clouds, and fog in the Overworld are recolored to the crimson forest sky (sky color 7254527) and fog (3343107). Shader packs pick up the tint because it replaces vanilla color values instead of drawing a custom skybox.
- Brightness still follows the Overworld’s day/night and weather brightness so the red tone dims in storms or at night instead of staying flat.
- The effect only applies while you’re in the Overworld and not submerged (water, lava, powder snow keep their usual fog handling).
- No commands or configuration are needed; drop the built jar into your client mods folder alongside Fabric API.
- If another mod overrides sky or fog rendering, the final look will depend on load order; this mod intentionally stays minimal and non-destructive to maintain shader compatibility.
