Orbit Client 2.0 overview
- Client-side toolkit focused on FPS stability and PvP clarity. Core modules: Performance Core (reduced particles/clouds, sane distances), FPS Limiter (separate menu/in-game caps), Dynamic Render (drops view distance during combat), Scroll Tuning, Zoom (hold C), Freelook/perspective (hold V), chat tools, and the Orbit HUD.
Using the UI
- Right Shift opens the module panel with categories, search, and per-module toggles. R opens the HUD editor so you can drag the stats block and module list. F8 toggles "vanilla safe" mode to suspend non-HUD/utility modules quickly.
- The Orbit HUD shows active modules, FPS/ping/CPS, coords, reach, sprint and cooldown indicators, armor/durability, potion timers, keystrokes, and a subtle scoreboard cleaner. Hit flashes and a custom crosshair are enabled by default and can be tuned in HUD settings.
Performance/visual tools
- Performance Core applies lightweight culling presets (lower particles/clouds, tighter entity distance, hurt bob off) and remembers previous values when disabled.
- FPS Limiter lets you set different caps for menus vs gameplay; Dynamic Render trims view/simulation distance while you’re actively fighting.
- Scroll Tuning narrows hotbar scroll sensitivity; Zoom (hold C) narrows FOV while held; Freelook (hold V) temporarily switches to a rear third-person view without changing your aim direction.
Chat and QoL
- Chat Tools add timestamps, filtering, and an optional Auto-GG (keywords like victory/win trigger a polite message). All chat adjustments run client-side only.
- Safe config handling: settings and HUD layout are saved to config/orbitclient20.json and reload safely between sessions.
Notes and limits
- Freelook uses a temporary perspective swap rather than a fully decoupled camera. Scoreboard cleaner is cosmetic and simply dims the sidebar area. Auto-GG triggers on simple win keywords and may not catch every server-specific phrase.
