Stranger Things Sky
- Bundles a built-in resource pack that tints the night sky deep red, overlays a Mind Flayer-style hive silhouette, and sprinkles crimson embers to mimic the Upside Down.
- The pack replaces
starfield.pngwith a red, veiny sky texture and overrides the sky color map so nighttime ambience glows scarlet instead of blue. - The mod registers the pack automatically on the server entrypoint; clients that have the mod will see it enabled by default.
- Vanilla clients will need the included resource pack distributed to them (or set as the server resource pack) to see the visual changes; the mod itself does not host the pack for download.
- Designed for Minecraft 1.21.1; pack metadata includes a wide supported format range to avoid incompatibility warnings.
Notes and suggestions
- Visual change is texture-based only—no shader hooks—so weather and day transitions remain vanilla aside from the red tinting.
- If you want the Upside Down mood during daytime too, set the pack as forced on the server so players keep it enabled; adding fog or ambient sound layers would heighten the theme further.
