Help me create a version of minecraft most favorite mod Ars Nouveau but within Hytale. Adding Magic, adding ways to make unique spells, utils, attacking etc.

Arcane Mod Overview

  • Arcane adds a lightweight spell system inspired by Ars Nouveau for server-side Hytale.
  • Players learn the core glyphs automatically on join and get a mana pool (120 max, regenerates roughly 12 mana/sec) shared across all spells.
  • Quick-casting: primary/secondary/Ability1 interactions fire your active spell when set; use /arcane active <id> to choose it.
  • Direct casting: /arcane cast <id> runs a spell immediately without changing your quick slot.

Spells

  • arcane_bolt (Attack, 15 mana, 1.2s cd): fires a targeted arcane bolt, messaging the struck target if it is a player.
  • blink (Utility, 25 mana, 4s cd): short-range teleport forward based on your facing.
  • soothing_light (Support, 20 mana, 5s cd): calm restorative pulse for light roleplay healing.
  • gust (Attack, 12 mana, 1.5s cd): pushes a targeted entity away with a burst of air.
  • luminous_orb (Support, 10 mana, 2s cd): summons a descriptive mote of light to brighten your path.

Commands

  • /arcane help – quick reference.
  • /arcane list – all available spells with school and cost.
  • /arcane describe <id> – glyph chain, cost, and description for a spell.
  • /arcane learn <id> – add a spell to your known list (defaults are learned automatically).
  • /arcane active <id> – set the spell that fires on interactions.
  • /arcane cast <id> – cast immediately.
  • /arcane mana – view remaining mana.

Notes & Limitations

  • Effects focus on movement/feedback; damage and healing are descriptive only and do not hook into Hytale combat stats.
  • Blink and Gust reposition entities without collision checks; avoid casting into cramped spaces.
  • Quick-cast listens to primary/secondary/Ability1 interactions and may overlap with other plugins bound to those inputs.
