Eclipse - Celestial Alignment Plugin

Overview

Eclipse is a Minecraft server plugin that lets every player choose a magical Celestial Alignment when they join. Your choice determines what powers you get, but be careful - each alignment has strengths and weaknesses that change with the day/night cycle!

Features

Three Unique Alignments:

• ☀️ Solar (Day-Bound Warrior) - Stronger during the day with permanent Strength I and fire resistance, but slower at night
• 🌙 Lunar (Night Predator) - Powerful at night with Speed I and Night Vision, but you glow in sunlight making you an easy target
• 🌌 Eclipse (Dusk/Dawn Master) - Incredibly powerful during sunset and sunrise with Strength II and Speed II, but normal the rest of the day

Special Abilities:

• Solar Flare - Right-click to blind nearby players (Solar only, day only)
• Shadow Step - Right-click to teleport 10-15 blocks forward (Lunar only, night only)
• Blackout - Right-click to darken nearby players' screens (Eclipse only, dusk/dawn only)

Dynamic Effects:

• All buffs and debuffs update automatically as time passes
• Lunar players regenerate health slowly while standing in moonlight
• Lunar players deal bonus damage when attacking from behind at night

How to Use

1. Join the server - You'll see a welcome message prompting you to choose an alignment
2. Choose your alignment - Type /alignment choose <solar/lunar/eclipse> to pick your path
3. View your powers - Type /alignment to see what alignment you have and what powers are active
4. Use your ability - Right-click with an empty hand to activate your special ability (when conditions are met)
5. Get help - Type /alignment list to see all alignments or /alignment info for detailed info

Important: Your alignment choice is permanent! Choose wisely.

Tips & Tricks

• Solar players should seek sunlight and avoid caves at night
• Lunar players thrive in darkness - use Shadow Step to escape or ambush enemies
• Eclipse players have a very short window of power during dusk/dawn - plan your fights accordingly
• All abilities have a 15-second cooldown, so use them strategically
• The /alignment command shows you which of your powers are currently active based on the time of day

Known Limitations

• Alignment choice cannot be changed after selection (this is by design)
• Abilities only work under specific time/location conditions as described in your alignment info
• Effects update every second, so there may be a brief delay when transitioning between day/night
