Elder Wand Add-on

Elder Wand-focused Paper plugin for 1.21.10 that adds 30 cinematic Harry Potter spells (including Avada Kedavra, Crucio, and Imperio) to a custom wand item.

How to use

• Run /elderwand in-game to receive the Elder Wand; /elderwand list shows every spell, /elderwand give <player> shares one.
• Sneak (crouch) to move through spells; while sneaking you can left-click to go backward or right-click to go forward. The current spell is shown in the action bar.
• Stand upright and hold right-click with the wand for a short channel; keep the wand in your main hand and avoid sneaking or swapping slots to finish the cast. A ray trace up to ~32 blocks is used to pick targets (entities preferred, otherwise the hit block/point).

Notable behaviors

• The wand is tagged via persistent data so only the custom blaze-rod wand triggers spells; players receive one on join if they do not already have it.
• Casting shows a progress bar and cancels if you sneak or change hotbar slots mid-channel.
• Spell effects are tailored for server safety: explosive charms (Reducto, Bombarda, Confringo) do not break blocks; Alohomora only toggles openable blocks; Episkey heals self if no target; Lumos/Nox manage vision/glow; defensive shields (Protego variants) grant absorption/resistance.

Limitations and tips

• Effects are approximations with Bukkit APIs rather than full movie simulations; timing and visuals can be tuned inside Spell.
• Holding right-click is emulated via a short channel; releasing the button early is not detected, but moving to sneak or swapping away from the wand will interrupt.
• The wand currently uses the default blaze-rod look; you can swap the item model/texture if you want a bespoke Elder Wand asset.
