helpers companions overview

• Spawn a tiny helper with the Helper Charm (or the spawn egg). Each helper tames itself to the player that spawned it and starts with a stone pickaxe.
• Helpers follow their owner, attack the owner’s targets, and engage nearby hostile mobs automatically. Sneak + empty hand to toggle sitting.
• While holding a pickaxe, helpers periodically search a short radius around the owner for ore blocks and break them, dropping the loot. A short cooldown prevents constant mining.
• Right-click your helper with gear to customize it: armor pieces for hats/shirts/pants/shoes, shields to the offhand, and pickaxes/swords/axes to the main hand. Replacing gear drops the previous item.
• Creative tab “Helper Companions” lists the Helper Charm and spawn egg for easy access.

Notes and limitations

• Uses the vanilla player texture, scaled down; armor and held items render normally.
• Ore searching is intentionally modest in range and paused without a pickaxe or while sitting.
• Helpers inherit their owner when bred via the charm/spawn egg but otherwise cannot breed or be fed.
