Overview

Illagers at War transforms Minecraft's passive NPCs into living empires with cities, borders, and military infrastructure. Villagers and pillagers form factions, wage wars, and expand their territories across the world. Watch as dynamic conflicts unfold organically or join the fray yourself!

Features

Six Starting Factions: Three villager factions (Emerald Dominion, Golden Order, Silver Concord) and three pillager factions (Crimson Legion, Shadow Covenant, Iron Marauders)
Dynamic Territory System: Factions claim land and expand borders automatically
Army Management: Create and command armies with different unit types (infantry, archers, cavalry, siege)
War System: Factions declare wars, form alliances, and battle for dominance
Live Conflicts: Battles happen in real-time between opposing armies near borders
Political Dynamics: Alliances, rivalries, and civil wars can form between any factions

How to Use

Commands

All commands use /illagersatwar (or /iaw shorthand):

View Information:

/illagersatwar faction list - See all factions and their status
/illagersatwar faction info <name> - Detailed info about a faction
/illagersatwar war list - View all active wars
/illagersatwar army list - See all deployed armies
/illagersatwar territory map - Check territory status

Create Content:

/illagersatwar faction create <name> <VILLAGER|PILLAGER> - Make a new faction
/illagersatwar army create <faction> <name> - Spawn an army at your location
/illagersatwar war declare <attacker> <defender> - Start a war between factions

Help:

/illagersatwar help - Show all commands

How It Works

Factions automatically spawn with the world and begin claiming territory
Territories expand outward from faction capitals
Armies patrol borders and engage enemy forces automatically
Wars can erupt when rival factions share borders or through player commands
Battles happen in real-time - watch armies fight with unique banner patterns

Tips & Tricks

Factions with more territory gain power faster
Armies heal slowly when idle but lose morale in combat
Border territories are hotspots for conflict
Create alliances between friendly factions to gang up on rivals
Use /illagersatwar faction info to check a faction's war status before joining a side

Known Limitations

Faction capitals are automatically assigned; custom placement coming soon
Territory visualization is command-based only
Army AI is basic and will be improved in updates
