Layered Wood Mod

Overview

Layered Wood adds a special wood block that requires multiple hits to break. When you punch it, the block gets thinner and changes color to reveal the lighter wood inside, just like peeling away layers of bark.

How to Use

1. Crafting: Place 9 oak logs in a crafting table (3x3 grid) to create one Layered Wood block
2. Placing: Place the block like any other building block
3. Breaking: Punch the block repeatedly - it will take 10 hits to fully break
4. Collecting: Once fully broken, it drops as a normal oak log

Tips & Tricks

• The block is perfect for decorative builds where you want a worn or weathered wood look
• Use it for obstacle courses or parkour maps where you need breakable platforms
• The layered breaking mechanic adds a fun challenge to resource gathering

Known Limitations

• The block appears as a full block to players without the mod installed (vanilla clients)
• Visual changes (thickness/color) are handled server-side and may not be visible on vanilla clients
