I want to create a Minecraft Java Edition client-side mod. Core idea: The player repeatedly rides the same fixed minecart track (a rectangular loop)....

Minecarft Mod
Overview
Minecarft automatically controls your camera while riding minecarts! When you ride around a track, your view direction will smoothly change based on which section of the track you're on. Perfect for scenic routes or automatic viewing angles.
Features
- Automatic Camera Control: Your camera direction locks to a fixed angle based on your track segment
- Configurable Track Segments: Define different areas of your track with custom viewing directions
- Toggle On/Off: Press M to enable or disable the camera control
- Debug Overlay: Press N to show a debug display with current segment and camera info
How to Use
- Hop into a minecart on your track
- The mod automatically detects which segment you're on and sets your camera direction
- Press M anytime to toggle the mod on/off
- Press N to see the debug overlay showing your current segment and coordinates
Tips & Tricks
- The mod creates a default config file in
config/minecarft.propertieson first launch - You can edit the config to set up your own track segments with custom coordinates and viewing angles
- Each segment defines a rectangular area (minX, minZ, maxX, maxZ) and a camera direction (NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST)
- The camera stays completely steady even when the minecart turns corners!
Known Limitations
- Track segments must be defined as rectangular regions in the config file
- The mod only works on client-side - no server installation needed
- Currently supports the four cardinal directions (North, South, East, West) for segment views
