Mineplanes Mod

Overview

Mineplanes lets you build and manage your own airline empire! Create airports with runways and gates, then fill them with realistic Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Perfect for players who love aviation and want to bring air travel to their Minecraft server.

Features

  • 8 Real Aircraft Models: Boeing 737, 747, 777, 787 and Airbus A320, A330, A350, A380
  • Custom Airports: Create airports with unique codes and names
  • Runway System: Add runways with realistic lengths and widths, set them to active/closed/maintenance
  • Gate Management: Add gates to your airports for parking planes
  • Plane Ownership: Claim planes as your own and build your fleet
  • Detailed Info: View stats like passenger capacity, range, and cruise speed for each aircraft

How to Use

Airport Commands (requires OP level 2)

  • /airport create <code> <name> - Create a new airport (e.g., /airport create LAX Los Angeles International)
  • /airport delete <code> - Delete an airport
  • /airport list - See all airports on the server
  • /airport info <code> - View details about an airport
  • /airport addgate <airport> <gate> - Add a gate to an airport

Runway Commands (requires OP level 2)

  • /runway add <airport> <id> <length> <width> - Add a runway (e.g., /runway add LAX 09L 3600 60)
  • /runway remove <airport> <id> - Remove a runway
  • /runway status <airport> <id> <active|closed|maintenance> - Change runway status

Plane Commands (all players)

  • /plane models - See all available aircraft models
  • /plane create <model> <id> - Create a plane (requires OP)
  • /plane list - View all planes on the server
  • /plane list boeing - View only Boeing planes
  • /plane list airbus - View only Airbus planes
  • /plane list mine - View planes you own
  • /plane info <id> - View detailed info about a plane
  • /plane claim <id> - Claim an unowned plane as yours
  • /plane park <id> <airport> - Park your plane at an airport

Tips & Tricks

  • Use realistic airport codes like JFK, LHR, or DXB for a more immersive experience
  • Longer runways are needed for larger planes - the A380 needs a lot of runway!
  • Park planes at airports before assigning flight numbers
  • Use /plane list mine to quickly check your fleet

Known Limitations

  • Planes are currently data-only (no physical entities in the world)
  • No flight simulation - planes teleport between airports
  • Passenger boarding is not implemented yet
