Mob Amputation

Overview

Mob Amputation lets you chop off limbs from undead mobs when you attack them! Hit different body parts to sever them, complete with bloody particle effects. If you cut off a zombie or skeleton's head, they'll stumble around for a bit before finally dying.

Features

• Cut off limbs by hitting specific body parts on undead mobs
• Blood particles spray out when limbs are amputated
• Headless undead mobs die after a few seconds
• Works with zombies, skeletons, husks, drowned, strays, wither skeletons, zombie villagers, and zombified piglins

How to Use

1. Just install the mod and play normally
2. Attack undead mobs (zombies, skeletons, etc.) to amputate their limbs
3. Aim high to hit the head, middle for torso, low for legs
4. Watch the blood spray when you land a good hit!
5. Cut off a head and watch the mob stumble before dying

Tips & Tricks

• The hit location depends on where your crosshair is aimed on the mob
• Head shots are the most satisfying - the mob will die shortly after losing its head
• Each limb can only be amputated once per mob
• Works great with swords and axes for maximum gore effect

Known Limitations

• Only works on undead mobs (zombies, skeletons, and their variants)
• Visual amputation effects are shown through particles rather than changing the mob's model
• The mod tracks amputations per mob UUID, so relogging may reset tracked amputations
