Ashes of the Crown now runs a louder, meaner feudal simulation that spills directly into the world instead of staying in text.

  • Kingdom engine: 3–6 procedurally named kingdoms form on server start, each with multiple named settlements, stability/prosperity/dread stats, and a ruling house personality.
  • Living rumors: Every pulse (about 45 seconds) kingdoms shift between ascent, war, famine, ruin, and feral ruin; notable changes are broadcast and stored for /crown or /crown rumors.
  • Holdings and mood: /crown kingdoms lists each banner’s stats plus settlement moods (loyal, wavering, hungry, rioting) so you can see who is slipping.
  • World reactions: Wars drop pillager/vindicator warbands near random online players, famine blights nearby farmland and inflicts hunger/fatigue, collapse/ferals raise undead with blindness, ascents send emerald tributes with short buffs, and unrest curses nearby players with bad luck.

Usage

  • Requires Fabric Loader 0.16.10+ and Fabric API on Minecraft 1.21.1.
  • Commands: /crown or /crown rumors for the latest whisper; /crown kingdoms for the current map of banners and settlement moods.

Notes and limits

  • Simulation resets whenever the server restarts; there is no persistence yet.
  • No new structures or loot tables are generated—the mod focuses on live events and ambient pressure.
