MurgalTrainers

Overview

MurgalTrainers lets you create custom Cobblemon trainers with unique teams that you can spawn anywhere in your world. Each trainer gets a random Minecraft skin and remembers exactly how you built them!

Features

  • Create Custom Trainers: Build trainers with custom names and Pokemon teams
  • Save & Reuse: Trainers are saved to your world and can be spawned multiple times
  • Random Skins: Each trainer spawns with a random Minecraft player skin
  • Easy Commands: Simple chat commands to create and manage trainers

How to Use

Creating a New Trainer

  1. Type /spawntrainer <name> (e.g., /spawntrainer gymleader1)
  2. Set the trainer's display name: /trainername Ash
  3. Add Pokemon to their team: /trainerpokemon Pikachu 50
  4. Repeat step 3 up to 6 times for a full team
  5. Save the trainer: /trainersave

Spawning Existing Trainers

Once saved, just type /spawntrainer <name> again and they'll appear in front of you!

Available Commands

| Command | Description | |---------|-------------| | /spawntrainer <name> | Create new or spawn existing trainer | | /trainername <name> | Set the trainer's display name | | /trainerpokemon <pokemon> [level] | Add a Pokemon to the team (default level 50) | | /trainersave | Save the trainer definition | | /trainercancel | Cancel the current setup |

Tips & Tricks

  • Trainer names are saved per-world, so you can reuse them across sessions
  • Use descriptive names like gymleader_rock or elite_four_1 to stay organized
  • Trainers spawn facing your direction, so position yourself where you want them to look
  • You can create up to 6 Pokemon per trainer - just like a real trainer!

Known Limitations

  • Pokemon are specified by name and level only (no custom moves/IVs/EVs yet)
  • Trainers will have Steve skins until Mojang's skin servers are queried
  • Currently uses chat commands for setup - a visual GUI is planned for future updates
