Creator Hub MCP

Build Minecraft mods from the AI chat you already use.

Connect Player Games to Codex or ChatGPT, then just ask. Your assistant can browse community mods, start a build, watch its progress, keep revising it with you, and hand you the finished file for your mods folder or your server. Hytale too.

Connect

Two ways in. One account.

Either way, you sign in to Player Games in your browser and approve the connection. There are no keys to find and nothing secret to paste.

Codex

Add with the Codex CLI

  1. 1Run the two commands below in your terminal.
  2. 2Your browser opens. Sign in to Player Games and approve the connection.
  3. 3Run codex mcp list, or open /mcp in Codex, to verify all eight tools are available.
Terminal
codex mcp add player-games --url https://www.player.games/api/chatgpt-mcp
codex mcp login player-games
Configure with config.toml instead

Add this block to your personal Codex configuration, then runcodex mcp login player_games.

config.toml
[mcp_servers.player_games]
url = "https://www.player.games/api/chatgpt-mcp"

The Codex app, CLI, and IDE extension share MCP configuration on the same machine.

ChatGPT

  1. 1In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Security and login, and enable Developer mode.
  2. 2Open Settings, then Plugins, select the plus button, and create a developer-mode app.
  3. 3Name it Player Games, paste https://www.player.games/api/chatgpt-mcp, and select Create.
  4. 4Review the eight discovered tools. Sign in to Player Games when ChatGPT asks you to connect.
Open ChatGPT Plugins

Not seeing Developer mode? Some plans don't include it, and school or work accounts can have it switched off.

What you can ask

What your assistant can do

Browsing, checking on builds, and downloading are free. Building and revising spend credits from the same balance you use in the Creator Hub, including the free ones you earn on Discord.

It only sees your own Player Games account. Private mods and downloads stay private, and nothing connects until you approve it in your browser.
